It might surprise you that if we meet me at a professional event and you ask what I do, I often say “I begin where AI ends.” But what does that even mean? So before I answer that, here’s a little read in to the problem.
We’ve all seen some variation of this meme on social media. For hundreds of years the ideas team was small and specially trained to unique understand the buyer. Approved ideas needed engineering resources and deeper CapEx to get results. And the companies that could fund phase A and B, had something tangible that users would now embrace.
What disruptive about AI is that it has completely inverted the process! Every consulting firm deck and AI report now is a torrent of ideas. These are literally now worth pennies - ideas have now become a fungible commodity.
AI design tools have made it possible to execute with a smaller pool of resources which looks like a cost savings on paper. Look Mom, we deployed an AI-native app to Vercel while skiing in Big Sky over the weekend.
What comes next is the disappointment that your great idea and the AI design doesn’t commercialize a user base the same way it used to. Everyone has an AI solution now, you’ve just lost signal becoming part of the noise.
So back to me, I said earlier I begin where AI ends; let’s break that down into two domains.
1. As the Chief Innovation Officer for XERAPHINA I specialize in innovation. Brass tax, that means solving future problems and stealing that marketing share from the future. I’m already working in the next big domains that are not yet status-quo.
As organizations are learning in the current AI market, having ideas no longer matters if you don’t have execution resources that can make markets. Your solution alone doesn’t create demonstrable change or attract users.
Someone physically needs to build the machinery that makes it profitable for everyone to change. This is where I fill a unique need. That tangible prototype, that physical immersive experience, and the storytelling that goes with it, all require a physically AI does not have.
I am a multi-modal builder who excels at turning leadership visions and abstract concepts into operational realities through physical design output. Add to that I do that along side the social model of your business model; and that is something AI cannot do.
And now you understand, I begin where AI ends.
